Starting with 100% Soy Wax
The foundation of our wax melts is 100% soy wax.
Soy wax provides a wonderful base for fragrance and allows us to create beautifully scented wax melts. We carefully prepare the wax before adding our fragrances, ensuring that each batch is ready for the next stage of the process.

Creating Our Artisan Fragrances
Of course, wax melts aren't just about the wax. The fragrance is what brings them to life.
At Clive’s Candles, our fragrances are artisan hand blended, giving our collections their distinctive character. We carefully combine fragrance elements to create scents designed to make your home feel inviting and beautifully fragranced.

Carefully Combining Wax and Fragrance
Once the soy wax is prepared, our carefully selected fragrance is added.
This is an important stage in the process. The wax and fragrance need to be combined properly so that the finished wax melt can release its scent when warmed.
We take care throughout the process rather than simply producing wax melts as quickly as possible. Every batch is part of our wider commitment to making products that we're proud to put the Clive’s Candles name on.
Hand Poured into Cube Moulds
After the wax and fragrance have been combined, the scented wax is hand poured into cube moulds.
Our cube moulds create the segmented wax bars that make our wax melts easy to use. Instead of having to measure or break off an unknown amount of wax, you can simply select a cube and place it into your chosen burner.
The hand-pouring process is also an important part of what makes our wax melts artisan products. Each bar is prepared with care before it is ready to become part of your home fragrance collection.
Designed for Long-Lasting Fragrance
Our wax melts are made to provide a strong, long-lasting scent.
Each cube can burn for approximately 16 hours, depending on factors such as the type of burner being used and how it is operated. This means a single wax melt bar can provide many hours of fragrance throughout your home.
For the best experience, always follow the safety and usage instructions supplied with your wax burner and never leave a burning tealight unattended.
Tealight or Electric Burner?
One of the convenient things about our wax melts is that they can be used with either a traditional tealight wax burner or an electric wax burner.
A tealight burner provides the familiar experience of warming your wax melt with a small flame, while an electric burner offers a flame-free alternative.
Whichever option you choose, the basic idea is the same: gentle heat melts the scented wax and releases its fragrance into the surrounding area.
